The house is stunning and decorated with great taste. Don’t forget to check the store: it has amazing gems. The food (breakfast/lunch/dinner) was tasteful. The staff is so welcoming and helpful as always in India. However, do not book the rooms that are in the front : there is a cafe around the corner that blasts music till late at night, ruining the peaceful atmosphere of this great part of the city. The hotel’s owner can’t do anything as the cafe’s owner has “connections”… We tried to talk to the cafe’s manager whom as a real jerk didn’t care about our issue.

We stopped in to eat at the restaurant a couple of times. The food was all delicious especially the mahi mahi fish. The courtyard is a very pretty setting to eat. My only criticism would be the timings. My husband had finished his main course before mine arrived. However, that fish was so delicious that it was definitely worth the wait!

Went there for an early dinner. The host old lady was way too rude!! She wanted us to order all food in one go, when we told her we would like to order after seeing the portion size. She was judging us for the number of dishes ordered. Not the place to go even if they offer free food any day!! Too much attitude. We had a better place to have our dinner. Never go to this place!!

Extremely disappointing and awful food and drinks. We went here for lunch and got the pasta, cocktail and coffee. The chicken in the pasta was so bad and the drinks were extremely diluted. A cocktail was as good as water. The place is pretty but there were insects all over and ants feasting over leftover food. Glad they enjoyed their meal :)

Very racist place ever. I have been abroad. Heard and have seen racism in many places . But experienced racism in India for the first time ever. The worst part is when they are doing it to you , you really don't no how to react. Very systamatic racism. People need to change . Management has to change its mindset.

Ordered the beef steak at Villa Helena and it was delightful! Perfectly juicy with the right amount of salt on the potato chips. Tried the New York cheesecake for dessert; it wasn't quite up to par, but the jam definitely gave it a saving grace. The staff here are both friendly and polite. Would recommend for a nice meal out!
